After a morning rehearsal in Cairnes we flew to Sydney. We had an evening tour of the city with our first view of the Opera House.

Great Day at the Great Barrier Reef

Today we traveled to the Low Isles to snorkel, view sea life via glass bottom boat, and learn about the biology of the isles - plenty of food, a little sea sickness, but great fun.

Cairns Day 2

Today we traveled to the rainforest. At Kuranda Village we hugged koalas, petted kangaroos and saw a variety of other wildlife. A sky rail ride took us over the canopy of the rainforest to waterfalls and the floor of the forest. In the afternoon we saw demonstrations about aboriginal life that ranged from native dances to boomerangs to diggereedoos.In the evening we had a great performance on the Esplanade for an appreciative audience that asked for more. We've arrived!

Today we arrived in Australia.  After taking an in  country flight we arrived in Cairns at 12:20 p.m.   We claimed our luggage and changed into uniform in the airport in order to make our 2:00 p.m. performance and exchange at Trinity Bay School.  The students were pretty amazing after their long flight.  They did a great job in their performance, and after being treated to a "tea" that consisted of many Australian treats provided by the families of the students, they had a great exchange with the students.  We hope you enjoy the pictures and can see what a great time they were having while meeting the Trinity Bay Students.
